Hi everyone! Does anyone know of any truly accessible virtual pet games? I like alien adoption agency, and furry-paws, but power pets and neopets use flash, which we all know jaws hates. Do you guys know of any others? Thanks! Oh, and a good one is grophland.com as well.
furry paws I think is as good as you're gonna get. what about googling "virtual pet sites" and seef you find a good one. I did, and found one, think it was powerpets or something, but even that aggravated me.

I use neo pets and it's not that hard. the only problem is you can't play the games but you can feed pets, play with them, and do everything else just not the flash games. other than that, neo pets works well or at least in my oppinion it does.
Yeayh to Neopets! They are so cute!! There are some games you can play but still. you can only play the games on there three times so I only get 900NP a day but that's better than nothing!
Look Up fassion fever and you should find it. You click start game then randomize then I forgot what. It's all buttons so it's not that hard.

yeah, you have to be online to play Neopets. It's not like those tamagochis or whatever the hey they're called where you can just pick them up and feed them by pressing a button or whatever.
Powerpets isn't that bad, I mean, you don't depend on the games like you do on Neopets. You can earn money on there with the shops, or sneaking into Padam's shack, or selling slime from the Northern Woods and stuff like that. Along with that, there's a virtual horse site at www.horseland.com where you raise, show and breed virtual horses. There's also one having to do with cats at www.purefelinity.com where you breed, raise and show cats. Hope this helps!

There are Cat-tails.org where you show and breed your own cats. I'm HermioneGranger on that one, Furry-Paws.com where you take care of dogs. Im lopesj1 on that. I'll put more when I think of some others.

I tried sypets but I'm aving trouble signing up. I filled out all required information but at the end it did't give me any errors or tell me an email was sent to the provided address. Does anybody know what's up with tat?

It has been changed a bit, you can take care or regular pets, aliens, all kinds of other stuff.....it is being started, however with now 3 developers, it shouldn't take an extremely large amount of time..

It's a cool site. I like canis novus too but you have to apply to play. it's a cool one though.
Tails of Service closed down registration for a while so they could get more bugs out of the game.. The only way to create an account right now is to pay for one if you want to get in before registration opens up again.

I found another site called to live happily. the url is www.tolivehappily.com. It's a pretty cool site. It's sort of like the sims. Apparently you can have kids and a house and stuff like that but i haven't gotten that far. The only thing is the menu is in French, but i sort of figured out what was what after a while. It's sort of fun.

Ok, this I can help out with. First, u wanna drop buy the market place, and grab some food from the sotres. Next, you''ll wana play some games, to get yourself some NP. Put some of it in the bank, and collect interest on it. I should really start playing neopets again, I love reading the newspapers, they had some awesome writers. Also, I'm not too interested in tails of service. I'm not sure y, I'm just not getting into it that much. Harmony, private message or PQN me, if u need help with neopets.
Does anyone know how to do things like take care of the animals on horseland.com and neopets.com? I've bought loads of food for my horse, but don't know how to feed it.
Neopets was alright, but they changed the look and feel of the site, so now they give you links, but not what the link does. it's aggrivating cuz I have a lvl 7 accara, a lvl 5 Shyru, a lvl 2 Lupe and I forgot what else. it's really, really annoying that they changed everything. waaaah.

ok, by experimenting on neopets, after it says log out it says list of nine items, the first is for your account, the 2nd so called "Blank is the map of Neopia, the third is for the neoboards, the fourth is for the games. I'll do more experementing when my comp isn't so much of a pain in the ass about the site. I hope this helps a little.

no. not all of them. Some of them do, but after its says flash movie, go down a few lines, and it should have a button. I'm mainly talking about the whell games. If it comes to it, and u hit enter on the button, and nothing happens, try using the jaws cursor on it. Also, some of the games don't have sounds on them. Someone had made a site a while back, that had a bunch of links, to help u get NP by playing certain games, and going to certain places. If i can find it again, I'll post it. It may help u guys who r having trouble getting items and NP.

On Neopets, dou you put your ID. number in, that you use on the zone or dou you have to use another one.
I've also got a home on neopets now, but of course spent most of my neopoints. I've got a green female ogrin as my pet who likes playing with the cardboard thingy I gave her. Hahahaha. I tried to play some of the games but found them ... not very helpful, except the poodle racing game, which I lost anyway on.

the intrest depends on how many neopoints you have. I have 34000 and am a platnium extra saver so I get 8 NP of intrest a day. I think it depends on the amount in your savings account and what kind of account you have.

creating a neopet on neopets is more complicated now!! it's annoying. but as to good games, go to the games page and search for "quiz. there is a quiz there and it gives you 300 np per play and you can play it up to 3 times for a total of 900 np per day, which isn't too bad.
I don't know how long that will be there for, it's one of those sponsered things like for the chipmunk movie.
I'm winning more np back now because I've managed to play one of the games. I can't work out what it's about, but it's called, the eye of the storm.

Ok, the problem with Neopets is that they upgraded the site so now you need to have Internet Explorer 7 instauled to work completly with Neopets now. so I did that last night and it works fine now, but then again you also need it for the chat on facebook as well!
well, that may explain y i can't use it on safari on the mac. I couldn't figure out how to use the chat on facebook last night.
the chat on facebook, I think it said that it works with safari 2 and 3, firefox 2 and IE7. I'm not entirelly sure about it myself, but all I can say is that it needs to be played around with.

You do a game search for quiz and you will find a sponcered quiz for the chipmonk movie. you get 300 NP for playing so that's 900 NP per day, which isn't too bad!
I'm sorry guys, but I can't find the link anymore. I have even asked a sighted friend of mine, and she can no longer find it anymore either.
there is a game called fassion fever. the eaisest thing to do is hit game, and randomize, that will give you another 300 NP per game, and a three time per day play is another 900NP, and there is a game on the main game page and you just hit a button to watch a video, then hit a button to spin a wheel to get a random amount of NP, and you can do this five times per day. so doing that yesterday, the fassion fever and that video thing I got a total of 3300NP. which to get that much per day is very good, or at least I think it is.

I signed up with neo pets and i'm wondering why you can't chose what pet you want. It just picked a random pet and a random color.
That is hard for me to figure out, just keep refreshing till you get the one you want, I haven't checked the create a pet thing since I already have four pets. but when I created my last one, it took me 20 minutes to get my Usul, mind you, I wanted a yellow usul, I got it, but it was annoying to get

wow shadow. 20 minutes? ok, I think u need help with this, but their r color squares u can click on to get your pet the color u want. I don't know if JAWS will read it or not, I don't remember. For my account I had my friend helped me out with it. I do know that on Rise_from_the_ashes I did it by myself, but I don't remember what I did, I think the pets r combo boxes, and the colors r graphics, but I don't remember now. I'll have to check.
ok, the squares I can understand now, but no jaws doesn't speak them, the problem I had was the pet. but the point was I finally got what I wanted. keep in mind, I was using IE6, so it was a bit different, I haven't tried since I instauled IE7, seeing as how I already had 4 pets
My new challange is trying to build my Neo home, I can build stuff no problem, I put two small tables and two table lamps, but I can't organize them.

For 2000NP and free food, one food item for each pet that is, there is a link I posted on the first page of this topic. that can only be done once a month. And the game fassion fever is on the mane games page. if you use jaws, go into your links list and hit the letter F, you'll find it. the video one is not that far below it. That one begins with the letter A. hope that helps.

Ok, u ca try that 2000 NP a month thing to get the food and the free NP. I've thought of some of the games that were on that page. To get food, thers a place called Jelly world. If u go there, go to "a giant jelly". U can get food there. The game that they have there isn't accessible, u gotta use the mouse to play it. U can also go to the tomb, and if u get lucky, u can grab some useful stuff. um...The two kings. I don't know where they r anymore. U have to ask them questions, for one of them, and the other one, I thnk u have to answer his question. There r also a few wheel games that u can play for money, there easy to do, just hit the button in the middle of the flash movie. That's all I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps, Mike.

it is just hitting buttons in a flash movie window. you hit the button that says Watch video, then the one that says start video, then once the video is don the button that says spin the wheel to win neopoints, then the button that says to return to the main menu. do this five times for anywhere of 100-1000NP per time, note it is random.
on the mane games page there is a link for a game called fassion fever. that is again just hitting the start game button, then the button that says randomize pet, then the end game and then send score. do that three times for 900NP.

I tried to use powerpets, but didn't find it very accessible. A couple of more good games on neopets are dice-a-rue, which is in Rue Island and Eye of the Storm when it works, which is on the games page. I also like the poodle race track, but don't win very much.
I couldn't figure out the eye of the storm, blahhh, I just sometimes have my friends play Distructo match2 for me. they like to blow stuff up so it's no problem for them.
I am now off to find my neopet plushies
I can't do eye of the storm anymore. I used to just keep pressing the space bar when it went to different buttons, but that kind of doesn't work now.

to get their health up, go to the healing springs in fairy land and click on "Heal My pets"
to get toys, do a search in the shop wizard. if you want a shop, go into my user look up and take a look in my shop,

I've nearly got 2000 points now! The soup kitchen fed my pet yesterday, but they're still hungry. I guess I'll have to buy some food or go there several times.
you can feed your pets multiple times. and I had 45000 points, but then I had to go on a shopping spree for petpets and chocolate, so I'm trying to build that up again, unfortunatlly I keep spending it on my neohome.

and by the end of the night a piece of the petpet lab map. but that is going to be like 99000 or a bit more.

Because the college technicians don't want us playing about on game websites during the day when other students are still in lectures and also something about they're only allowed 4 mg of bandwith or something. That's what they said when I e-mailed them, anyway. In other words, we've got to stay up later or get up earlier just to go on neopets or other game sites.

Never heard of a locking feature on tails of service, but you could always email them and ask or transfer the dog to another player that you know and can trust to care for them and send them back when you return. Nothing new on Cat-tails.org so I don't know about that site either. The owner has been sick lately so no aditions like that that I know of. Tails of service is a good game, and I'm kind of getting into canisnovus.com. It's good, but a bit different then others i've played.

I rarely post on here, but thought I would mention another site that is out there. showdog.com is another virtual dog sim. there is a free acount as well as premium. I don't know all the rules or what premium gets that the free acount doesn't. I haven't gotten into yet, but thought I would let others know it is out there. I think there are links on that site for horse, cat and cattle sims as well.
I don't know what happened, but Tails of Service went down a while ago and hasn't come back up yet. I'm kind of bummed, since I thought Tails was a lot better than Showdog and/or Furry Paws, but there you go.

So ... Are there any games like Tails of Service, where you don't show dogs? I can't get into showing dogs - that's why Tails was so cool, because you didn't have to compete so much, you just had to do your best with training and whatnot.

It may be coming back. I can't remember what the actual update i saw on furry paws and cat tails was but i think she was having a problem paying for the site and some other stuff. I can find the actual update later though.

Oh, you will hear most screen readers say heading all the time. This site concealed their links in the headings. Once on the list of pet links you click on anything that says bullet in front of it or use tab to go to links because the site won't actually say link.
